Alice "Polly" Stewart Sandoe

Alice "Polly" Stewart Sandoe, 88, of Bristol, VA went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was born on November 8, 1929, a daughter of the late Isom Sanford and Maggie Alice Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sandoe and was the last living of ten children.She was a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Eastern Star Chapter 28 of Bristol.Alice is survived by her children, William Bill Keesee and wife Janet of Yorktown, VA, David Jack Keesee and wife Debbie of Goldsboro, NC, Lisa Jane Heninger and husband Steve of Glade Spring, VA, and Barbara Ray and husband Chuck of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Jason Rasnake and wife Jessica, David Wilson and wife Staci, Kimberly Cribb and husband Tommy, Mark Wilson, Dennis Severt and wife Jamie, and Courtney Ray; eight great grandchildren; and one special fur friend, Mater.The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Scott Spence officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, VA. Pallbearers will be Phil Keen, Travis Melvin, Mike James, Tommy Cribb, Mike Stout, and Richard Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of Beech Grove United Methodist Church.
