Angel Rosado Torres

Angel Rosado Torres, 68, of Abingdon, VA passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his home. He was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on January 27, 1950, a son of the late Contesor and Maria Crus Torres. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Luis Torres; a sister, Iris Torres; a granddaughter, Zaniyah May Campbell; and a grandson, Jaiven Torres.He was a farm worker and had also worked at Bristol Compressors. He was of the Catholic faith. His hobbies included walking, hunting, chickens, flowers, and spending time with his grandbabies.Angel is survived by his loving wife Marcia Ann (Bennett) Torres; sons, Hershel Campbell and wife Patty, Juan Torres, and Angel Torres, Jr.; daughters, Angela Torres and Elizabeth Torres; step-son, Douglas Timothy Bennett; step-daughters, Danielle Kellion and Brenda Diehl; five other children; several grandchildren; several step grandchildren; brothers, Erasmo Torres and wife Lucy and Tony Torres; sister, Lonida Torres; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Glenwood Cemetery.
