Doug and I became friends at around the age of thirteen we felt like outcast on our football team. We ended up getting really close to the point that I considered him my brother and knew I had a true friend in him. Not only were we friends but we used to make some really good music together. Rest in peace Doug I know you're in Heaven watching over us now..........
I did not know Doug personally, but I did know his grandmother Lillian very well, and I knew how much she loved her children and grandchildren. Shirley, my heartfelt sympathy for you and your family.
Jennifer, I am so sorry for you and your sister. I, too, lost my brother when he died suddenly at a young age. It is a blow and leaves such a hole in your heart. May God be with all of you during this difficult time. Please know that I love you and your whole family.
Your grandmother was a wonderful friend to me. Joyce Denton
