Evelyn Francis Smith

Evelyn Francis Smith, 83, of Bristol, VA passed away Wednesday morning, August 6, 2014 surrounded by her nephew, Jeff and his wife Lisa and caregiver, Rachel after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington and Lena Cross Malone; and brothers, Gene Malone, Joe Malone and Glenn Malone.She was employed by Big Jack Manufacturing and ITT North until their closure, then Wal-Mart until her retirement.Evelyn is survived by her brother, Paul Malone and wife Clara of Bristol, TN; several nieces and nephews; and her two constant furry companions, Missy and Johnny.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Schrenker and his staff; neighbors, Frank and Sandy Fritts; special friend, Karen Mears; and caregivers, Rachel, Paige and Zared.At the request of Evelyn, there will be a private burial. Friends may call at the residence of Jeff and Lisa Malone, 116 Mulberry Lane, Bristol, TN at anytime.
