Margaret Helm Evans

Margaret Helm Evans, 93, of Bristol, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Elliston, VA on July 20, 1921, a daughter of the late Bernard and Lucy Wells Helm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Everett Evans; an infant daughter; and three siblings.Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sue Evans Perchemlides of Bristol, TN; siblings, Martha Helm Linnartz of Salem, VA, Mary Sheets of Salem, VA, Merle Helm White of Stanleytown, VA, and Marshall Helm of Roanoke, VA; grandsons, Steven Perchemlides of Honolulu, HI, Gregory Perchemlides of Montague, MA, Richard P. Karsten of Loverett, MA, Keith Perchemlides of Talent, OR, and Matthew Perchemlides of Cornwall, VT; great grandchildren, Nicholas Karsten, Brook Karsten, Gabriel Perchemlides, Acadia Perchemlides and Sebastian Perchemlides; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret was a warm, spontaneous, caring, loving mother, grandmother, and sibling. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Cambridge House for the tender care provided to Margaret.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Park, 1250 E.
