Alvin "Benny" Wright Alvin "Benny" Wright, 66, of Bristol, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Cambridge House in Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Bristol, VA, on March 17, 1948, a son of the late Albert and Pauline Rutherford Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dondra Wright and his sister, Patricia Ann Overstreet. He attended Grace Baptist Church and loved to play Bingo with his friends at Cambridge House. Benny is survived by his three nephews, Jimmy Overstreet, Daniel Overstreet and wife Jennifer, and John Overstreet; niece, Pamela Baines and husband Michael; and four step daughters, Kimberly Burton and husband Robert, Patty Moore and husband David, Lori Youngblood, and Wendy Bowery and husband Shon. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Eastern Heights Church Cemetery, Bristol, TN with Brother Vann Seal officiating.
