Arlie "Art" Dean Tatum

Arlie “Art” Dean Tatum, 93 passed away peacefully on Sunday (May 23, 2021) surrounded by his loving family. Art was born on March 24, 1928 in Kearney, Nebraska to the late Merton Kenneth & Ruby Gladys (Eldridge) Tatum.Art proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He graduated from the University of CA, Santa Barbara with a Bachelors’ Degree in Geology. He was a Restauranteur, Driving Instructor, Miner, Cave Explorer, Businessman, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather.In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by grandson, Daniel Salcedo.Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 38 years, Sally; daughter, Auri Barker & husband David; and grandson, Miles Barker.In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be sent to your local VFW.Read Obituary
