Belinda Sue Otey Cannon

Belinda Sue Otey Cannon, 62, of Bristol, VA passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bristol, VA on July 23, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Nunn Otey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Gene Otey and Wayne Allen Otey.She attended Norfolk Avenue Baptist Church and had worked at Caroline's Manufacturing for several years. Among her hobbies, she enjoyed skating, softball, and bowling.Belinda is survived by her husband, Mike Cannon; two sisters, Rita Guffey and husband Don and Kathy Otey Waller and companion Buck Wilford; two brothers, Bobby L. Otey and wife Pamela and Gary Lynn Otey and wife Agnes; and several nieces and nephews which she loved dearly. The family would like to express a special thank you to Bristol Life Saving Crew and the staff at Bristol Regional Medical Center.The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Robert Lang officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Weaver Cemetery, Bristol, TN.
