Clyde Carl Skeens “Junior,” entered into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus, the afternoon of Wednesday, July 21, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19 and pneumonia, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bristol VA on November 12, 1949. Junior was preceded in death by his loving parents, Clyde Carl & Mary Frances (Lambert) Skeens, his baby sister, Sandra Kay Branch (Pete) and his loving and faithful dog, Sable. Junior was of Christian Faith. He retired from the City Power Board, where he worked as a lineman and later maintained the lighting for the city of Johnson City, TN. Junior loved His Family and never hesitated to tell each of them how much he loved them and love the Lord and how blessed we all are. He love all the children and babies and they loved him. He loved and cared for his cats as well as many homeless and strays. He enjoyed watching old Western Movie, sports, reading his Bible, and sharing his love for Jesus with his family and friends. Junior is survived by his three sons, James Lee, Chris and Josh; three sisters, Sharon Kestner, Frances Maiden(Bob) and Wilma Skeens; two brothers, Jeff Skeens, and they were best friends, Wayne Lambert(Teddie); one niece Kristi Gronlund (Shawn), several nephews Matt Branch(Jessica Glover), David and Jason Nunn, Josh Rush(January) Jeremy Maiden(Jessica Faccone). Jarrod, Noah, Nate Rush, Brianna and Dylan Beverly( Zeke & Maggie), Serenity, Isabella, Elijah, Maiden, Andrew and Brittney Nunn( Liam, Arrow, Autumn) James Nunn and Elizabeth Epperson(Abram, Aliyah), Shea and Caity Gronlund(Sadie Grace and Piper Sage), Laci Gronlund Jenson and Chris, and Junior’s lifelong friend whom he loved dearly, Buddy Smith and wife Pat.
