"She fought the good fight...." BRISTOL, TENNESSEE - Donna Mae Puckett , 65, of Bristol, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord, after a long battle with cancer Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her residence.She was born in Midland County, MI on November 1, 1950, a daughter of the late Donald Franklin and Arleen Loretta Rasmussen Sherman. Donna, along with her husband are the owners of I-81 Lawn & Garden for the past 29 years. She attended Fellowship Chapel Church. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her pet dogs. She loved spending time at their home in Florida. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, William "Bill" Puckett, one son, Ron Sherman and wife, Rhonda of Bluff City, TN; two step-daughters, Leslie "Jeannie" Canipe and husband, Robert of Bristol, TN, and Connie Lee and husband, Erick of LaVergne, TN; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Sandy McDowell and husband, Robert of Midland, MI; one brother, Dick Sherman and wife, Mary of Midland, MI; mother-in-law, Kathleen Puckett of Bristol, VA; sister-in-law, Barbara Roark of Bristol, VA; four nieces and one nephew. The family would like to express a special thank you to all the friends from I-81 Lawn & Garden for their support during Donna's illness. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services. The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, with Pastor Scott Price officiating. The committal service and entombment will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in the Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
