Gary G. Bowers, 51, of Bristol, Virginia, passed away, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. He was born in Bristol, VA. on February 21, 1963.Gary was a candy maker with Helms Candy Company. He had been employed with Flav-O-Rich for many years.Gary is survived by his loving spouse and best friend, Roxanne "Bonnie" Bowers; his parents, Edgar L. and Imogene Bowers; a brother, Michael L. Bowers and his wife Brenda; a niece, Mandy L. Tweed; and a nephew, Brian L. Bowers.The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Monday, October 20, 2014 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee Street, Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Dr. Bobby Griffin and Rev. Chad Blevins officiating. The Committal service and interment will follow the funeral service at Mt.
