George Spencer Trivett
July 12, 1934 - January 2, 2021
George Spencer Trivett, 86, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2021. George was born to the late Grady S. & Addie (Tester) Trivette. George was one of ten children. George unselfishly served our country in the United States Army. He was a dedicated Communications Electronics Material Manager Officer for over 24 years, serving during the Vietnam War. George was a member of Edgefield United Methodist Church. He was an avid photographer, excellent carpenter, and enjoyed golfing. George was preceded in death by the true love of his life, his beloved wife of 36 years, Alice Trivett. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Sandy Branson (Mark) and Becky Thomas (Larry); two sisters, Peggy and Doris; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. George will be laid to rest at Mountain Home National Cemetery on January 19, 2021 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Edgefield United Methodist Church (745 N Pickens Bridge Rd. Piney Flats, TN 37686).
