Gerald Duhaime

Gerald Duhaime, 76, of Bristol, Virginia passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Manchester, NH on December 23, 1937, a son of the late Omer and Antoinette Duhaime. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Duhaime. He retired from Public Service of NH (Northeast Utilities) with 35 years of service. After moving to Bristol in 2001, he became involved with Habitat for Humanity, completing three houses. He loved to see the happy look on the faces of the new homeowners when they received the keys to their new home. He loved all things wood and could make or create anything from any type of wood. Arthur is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Mark Duhaime and wife Louise and their children, Whitney, Christopher, and Andrew of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter, Michelle Duhaime of Manchester, NH; daughter, Denise Benson and husband Cliff and their children, Darya, Nicole, and Sheldon of Pembroke, NH; son, David Duhaime and wife Cassie and their son, Jacob of Rindge, NH; daughter, Donna Rondeau and husband Victor of Epsom NH and their children, Dylan and Olivia; sister, Rei Fullerton and husband Steve and their children, Steve, Tom, and Christine of California; and brother-in-law, Dana Hawks and wife Barb of Central Square, NY. He leaves numerous cousins in New Hampshire, many nieces and nephews and three great grandchildren. There will be a gathering for family and friends at the couples home from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
