Helen Kathleen Osborne Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Helen "Kathy" Osborne, age 61, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born on October 27, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland to Helen Jones Otey. Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Osborne; son, David Lee Osborne; and grandson, Cole Osborne. Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Bristol, VA for many years. She had a very outgoing and fiery personality. Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is remembered for being caring and kind. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Katarina Osborne (Zack Moore); mother, Helen Jones Otey; grandchildren: Kimberly Moore, Kirsten Osborne, and Damien Osborne; brothers: Michael Otey (Jennette), Charlie Otey (Liz), and David Otey (Melissa); sister: Connie Rosenbalm; several nieces, nephews, and friends. A gathering of remembrance will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Blevins Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A committal service will be held following the visitation at 2:30 PM at Shipley Cemetery with pastor Gary Garland officiating.
