Hermine "Minnie" Norton

December 13, 1929 - December 27, 2016

Hermine "Minnie" Norton, 87, of Bristol, TN passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home. She was born in Linz, Austria on the Danube on December 13, 1929 a daughter to the late Konrad and Marie Oberleitner Zeininger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Hans-Johny Norton and Michael Norton and a granddaughter, Kimberly Norton. She was a military wife and came to the United States in May of 1951 and moved to the Bristol area in June of 1956. Minnie is survived by one son, Robert E. Norton of Mason, OH; grandchildren, Brandon Norton and wife Crystal of Big Stone Gap, Camille Norton of Trenton, OH, Charlie Anne and Andre Xaviar of Charlottesville, VA and Candice Norton of Woodruff, SC; great grandchildren, Stetson Norton of Big Stone Gap, VA, Kelby Norton of Mason, OH, Zakyia Martindale of Trenton, OH, William Clarke of Woodruff, SC, and London Xaviar of Charlottesville, VA; sister, Frieda of Austria; and nephew, Konrad "Koni" of Austria. A Graveside Service and interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, VA.
