Hilda Ruth Vestal

Hilda Ruth Vestal, 85, of Bristol, TN passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her home. She was born in Saltville, VA on September 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Hubert and Bessie Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vestal, Sr. and a son, Donald "Donnie" Vestal, Jr.She attended Charity Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Bristol, TN. She had worked for Southeast Services for several years, worked as a nurse's aid, and cooked for many years. She most loved having her family around.Hilda is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Jones and Bessie McCracken and husband Dennis; son, Danny Vestal and wife Lisa; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice Care for all the love and care shown to Hilda during her illness.No services are planned at this time.Read Obituary
