June Arnold Smith

June Arnold Smith, 88, of Bristol, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. She was born in Mountain City, TN on May 3, 1930, a daughter of the late Kelley Arnold and Cliffie Phillips Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wesley Smith, three brothers, Fayette, Emitt, and LeavieArnold; three sisters, Hester Snyder, Rena Brown, and Nell Galligher; and two brother-in-laws, Jim Wallace and Gene Wallace.June was a active member of East Bristol Baptist Church where she served in various ministries. She had worked for Gordon Garmet and Monroe companies. She was a loving and a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a great cook and enjoyed feeding everyone.June is survived by her son, Frankie Smith and wife Anita; two grandchildren, Megan Smith Yon and husband Daniel, and Cody Smith; one great granddaughter, Kennedie Yon; three sisters, Inez Wallace, Lulabell Wallace, and Vean Reynolds; two brothers, Dean Arnold, and Danny Arnold and wife Charlotte; one sister-in-law, JoAnn Arnold; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Pastor David Davis officiating.
