Margaret June (Wright) Fields, 90, entered into the loving arms of her Savior during the morning hours of Sunday (August 29, 2021). June was born on June 4, 1931 in Washington Co., VA to the late William Linkous & Kittie Lee (Nunn) Tuggle.June was a dedicated member of Fellowship Chapel where she enjoyed Berean Sunday School Class as well as Senior Saints Choir. June was the founder of the Wednesday Meals on Wheels for Fellowship Chapel. She volunteered at Bristol Regional Medical Center for 19 years. She was a member of Dorcas Circle where she served as past President for several years. June enjoyed bowling in the Interstate Bowl Senior League, yard work, and spending time with her family and friends. June was dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her first husband, James “Sonny” Wright; second husband, Roland C. Fields; daughter, Barbara Wright Hubble; step-son, Roland D. Fields; son-in-law, Larry Davis; daughter-in-law, Teresa Morrell Wright; seven siblings, Sylvia Sorace, Violet Payne, Dorothy Rittle, Wilson Tuggle, Howard Tuggle, Joseph Tuggle, and Carl Tuggle.Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Margaret Davis and Loretta Wise; two sons, Steve Wright & wife Tammy and Jim Wright; step-daughter-in-law, Mary Ruth Fields; son-in-law, Ronnie Hubble; 10 grandchildren, Karen Kite (Bill), Emily Norman (Phil), Joseph Davis (Angie), Gabe Hubble (Stacia), Josh Hubble (Jessica), Ben Hubble, Christine McKenzie, Laura Jones (Seth), Katie Wright (Gary), and Matthew Wright; two step-grandchildren, Adam Fields (Krystal) and Joanna Fields; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, David Tuggle; special neighbors, Jim and Jean Massengill; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.June will be laid to rest on Thursday (September 2, 2021) at 11 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Damascus, VA with Pastor Scott Price officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Meals on Wheels at Fellowship Chapel or Fellowship Chapel (201 Crockett Street Bristol, VA 24201).The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Grat Correll and the staff of Caris Hospice (Ashley Raines and Lynn) for the all the kind and compassionate care that was both given and shown to June during her time of need.
