Until her illness kept her away, Norma was a faithful member of Valley Hills Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was devoted to her beloved Bluff City High School Class of 1957 and was instrumental in having the Arthur Wayne Glover Memorial Bridge in Bluff City named in memory of a classmate killed in Vietnam. Ms. Simpson’s family would like to express their gratefulness to her many caregivers at NHC for the wonderful care they took of her, especially Brandy. At her request, a graveside service will held at Glenwood Cemetery on Saturday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. to lay her to rest. Those attending are asked to wear an item of purple in her memory. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to Valley Hills Baptist Church, 155 Cedar Brook Circle, Bristol, TN 37620, in her name.
