Paul loved fishing and enjoyed driving up to Holston dam to view the sunrise and sun set. Paul loved his children, grandsons, and great-grand son dearly. Left to cherish Paul's memory are his three sons: SGT. First Class Retired Paul E. Carter, Jr. (Sabina) Colorado Springs, Colorado, Robert Carter and John Carter, both of Bristol Virginia; two daughters: Cheryl Lynn Carter of Bristol, Tennessee, and Rhonda Sue Bell (Paul) Bristol Tennessee; two grandsons: Christopher Carter, and Nicholas Bell both of Bristol, Tennessee; one great-grandson, Da’Shaun Christopher Carter, Ky.; one sister, Sally Carter; a sister-in-law, Cookie Harris; special cousins: Ms. Jackie Mays and Author Livingston (Hazell). The family of the late Deacon Paul E. Carter gives praises to God for His faithfulness to us. We give a hearty thank you to you, our friends, who so lovingly have come by and paid your respect, have hugged us, prayed with us, sent flowers, brought us delicious food, offered us help in anyway we needed it. Thank you seems too small of a word to say to you for all of your kindness. Please know we are so appreciative for everything, and may God bless you richly. God willing we’ll be there for you should you need us. Love to you and your families. Blevins Funeral Home has the honor of serving the Carter Family. The family of Deacon Paul E. Carter, Sr.
