Randall Allen Robins

Randall “Randy” Allen Robins went to be with the Lord on June 6th, 2022. Randy was born in Abingdon, Virginia on April 24th, 1964, to the late William Vance Robins and Francis Louella Robins (Vickers). Randy lived his life in Blountville, Tennessee. He graduated from Sullivan Central High School. During his life Randy had many achievements and talents. Randy became a highly regarded sign painter and played a role in many of the famous signs throughout the tri-cities. Randy then moved on to motor sports, designing shirts for the IHRA and designing and painting cars and helmets for the NHRA. Randy loved anything pertaining to automotives. He was a lifelong fan of NASCAR and Formula 1 among other racing series. He loved building and fixing cars. Randy was also, a music lover. He played guitar but had a love for all music. He joined the ETSU Bluegrass Department in 2012 where he made many friends. Randy is survived by his son, Tyler Robins and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Brody Salyer, Evelyn Robins and another expected in November; siblings, Kitty “TT” Smith and husband Larry, Billy Robins, Sue Atkins and husband Micky, and Darrell Robins; many nieces, nephews and cousins whom Randy loved dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105) in honor of Randy.
