Ruth Elizabeth Dollinger, 67, of Rockmart, Georgia went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born in Bristol, VA on January 25, 1948, a daughter of the late Arthur and Janie Swartz Faulks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Faulks. Ruth is survived by her husband, Robert Dollinger; daughter, Rhonda Dale and husband Jr. of Rockmart, GA; sons, Wayne Goodson and wife Cathy of Kingsport, TN, Danny Goodson and wife Pam of Blountville, TN, and David Goodson and wife Sylvia of Bristol, VA; brothers, Roy Faulks and wife Shirley of Michigan, Bobby Faulks and wife Brenda of Bristol, VA, Lee Faulks and wife Debbie of Mountain City, TN, and Michael Faulks and wife Gail of Chester, SC; sisters, Mary Bruan of Bristol, TN, Brenda Fritz of Bristol, TN, Lois Hall and husband Lewis of Bristol, VA, Carolyn Hand of Bristol, TN, and Nancy Hicks and husband Don of Bristol, TN; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, July 3, 2015 in the chapel at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Thurman Chapman officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, VA. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
