Shirley Marie Winters Shirley Marie Winters, 71, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Johnson City, TN on June 12, 1945, a daughter of the late John and Birdie Hicks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers. She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers and going to estate and yard sales. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank D. Winters; son, Michael Winters; a daughter, Fredia Isaacs; two grandsons, Kyle Moore and his wife Ami, and Brandon Moore; two sisters, two brothers; her cat, Sydney; and dog, Fred. A graveside service will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
