Vicky Sue Ashley

November 6, 1969 - January 22, 2022

The brightest and most beautiful star burned out as Vicky Ashley passed away on the evening of January 22, 2022. Born on November 6, 1969, Vicky was 52 when she left us. Preceded in death by her grandson Coleby Brackson Ashley Carrier. She is survived by her endlessly loving parents, Janet and Earl Barton; the father of her children who always remained a great friend to her, Neil Ashley; her children to whom she gave everything she could and more, Rachel Ashley, Knicky Curcio, Justin Ashley, and Bridget Ashley as well as her beautiful grandchildren, Kaionna Knisley, Moe Curcio, and Simon Curcio; her faithful fiancée Michael Fraley, along with his children, Darien Fraley and Maurrissa Fraley whom Vicky loved wholeheartedly. Though she hardly had an easy life, she was a wonderful, generous, and loving person who was called “Mom” by many outside of the family. Vicky will be desperately missed by her family and loved ones, but we are thankful for the time we had with her, however sorrowful it may have been. A gathering of remembrance will be held at Blevins Funeral Home (417 Lee St. Bristol VA 24201) on Friday, January 28th, 2022 beginning at 11AM. A celebration of life service will follow beginning at noon. A committal service will follow the celebration of life service beginning at 1:30 PM at Mountain View Cemetery (1019 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
