Donna Sue Bowman

Donna Sue Bowman, 58, of Bristol, VA passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bristol, VA on August 18, 1960. She was preceded in death by her father, John Reed; son, Jonathan Bowman; two sisters, Brenda Hall and Ann Johnson; and a brother, Harley Brown.She attended Calvary Baptist Church and had worked at Sprint for several years, Telecommunications, and Universal Fibers. Her hobbies included sewing and crafting.Donna is survived by her husband, Freddy Bowman; daughter, Cassie Brianne Bowman; mother, Bertha Christine Reed, 92 years old; sisters, Margie Hardin, Frieda Love and husband Jr., and Faye White and husband Lee; best friend, Faye Lambert; special friends, Kristina Doyle and Kayla Doyle; brothers-in-law, Richard Bowman and wife Mary and Don Hall; special nephews, Allen and Andrew Bowman; and several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Darren, Nancy and the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care of Bristol, TN, staff at Bristol Regional Medical Center, and to her brother-in-law, Don Hall for all the love and care shown to Donna during her illness.The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ben Ondrak officiating.
