I have known John for many years. I had the opportunity to coach him in high school and stayed friends with him once he graduated. He was a pleasure to coach and a gentleman around me at all times. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family...Jay Hall

We have known John since kindergarden. Our son was in same grade. We watched John progress in school and saw a true athlete. John's team at Battle football was one one best of Battle history. RIP John our prayers for the family!

I am so saddened to learn that we have lost John, especially at so young an age. He was a really nice young man & I enjoyed talking with him - about family remembrances & how he was doing. I got to know John thru my brother's mower shop. I went to high school with his dad (Bobby) & remember John when he and my son were just little boys. My love goes out to Bobby & John's sister Laura. Take care, dear family. My love & prayers are with you. Barbara Puckett Roark
