Mollie O. Sneed Stevens

Mollie O. Sneed Stevens, age 78, formerly of Richmond, Va. and Bluff City, Tn., passed away on December 13, 2019. She was born in Johnson City, Tn., on October 13, 1941, the daughter of the late Homer Carl Sneed and Mamie Oleta Simerly Sneed Harr. Mollie was kind and generous to everyone she met and enjoyed messaging her Facebook friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Sneed and David Sneed, and special cousins, Betty Canter and Liz Pearcy. She is survived by her children, Joseph Stevens of Bristol, Tn., Susan Dickenson and husband, Rob of Bristol, Va., Alesha Moore and husband, Doug of Chesterfield, Va., and Carl Stevens and wife, Paula of Bluff City, Tn.; her dog whom she loved dearly, Sassy; sisters-in-law, Donna Sneed and Liz Short; brothers, Jerry Sneed and wife, Linda of Bluff City, Tn., and Anthony Sneed of Waxahachie, Tx. Grandchildren, Andy Dickenson and wife, Whitney, JT Stevens and wife, Lindsey, Avery Dickenson, Angel Dahowski, and husband, Steven, Aric Dickenson, Rachel Davenport, Stephanie Davenport, Katie Weiner and husband, Zach, Morgan Moore, Jordan Lambert, Jaidon Lambert, and Lycee Stevens; several great-grandchildren, and other family members. A Celebration of Life service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Thomas L. Quickel, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. An inurnment service will be held at a later date.
