Ruby Lydia Bowman, 73, of Meadowview, VA passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Gregory's Assisted Living, Meadowview, VA. She was born in Grundy, VA on April 7, 1946, a daughter of the late James Compton and Josie Boyd Compton Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Robinson and husband Spencer and Mary Bowman Lester; one son, Jeffrey Allen Bowman; grandchildren, Zachary and Michael Robinson, Brian and Cheyenne Lester and Lincoln Combs; four great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Fields and Faye Collier; and several nieces and nephews.No services are planned at this time.Read Obituary
